The prevalence and identity of 72 pathogens occurring on Pinus radiate D. Don are described against a brief background of the native host and its environment. Records of pathogens in California herbaria, pathology notes is Forest Service files, findings of recent surveys, and publications provide the basis for an index of these pathogens. An appendix lists 86 additional pathogens on exotic Monterey pine. For each pathogen the known world-wide distribution is given.
